Eligibility

• Must be a Silicon Valley Power residential customer.
• Must have an existing PV system or install a PV system with the battery storage installation.
• Must meet City permit requirements and submit copies of final permit and paid invoice with application. Battery storage systems must be purchased and installed after July 1, 2024.
• Customers may wish to contact Silicon Valley Power to confirm rebate eligibility before signing a contract.
• Complete rebate application and all required documentation must be submitted online within 60 days from the date of purchase or final permit date.
• One rebate per Silicon Valley Power service address.
• Discrepancies can invalidate the rebate application.
• Silicon Valley Power disclaims any and all liability for any loss or damage which may arise as a result of the applicant’s participation in this program.
• This program is subject to change or termination without prior notice.
• Rebate amount cannot exceed the purchase price of the equipment less any other rebates and tax credits, and does not include taxes or shipping costs.

• Solar systems not operating are not eligible for the rebate.
• New construction is not eligible
• Must complete all requirements as outlined in Solar Tune-Up Contractor Checklist.
• Solar maintenance must be completed and the checklist must be signed by a CA licensed solar contractor.
• Application Form must include all required information and be received within 60 days from date of Solar Maintenance.
• One (1) rebate per Silicon Valley Power utility service address every 12 months.
• Incentive amount not to exceed cost of solar maintenance.
• Only labor performed by a licensed or qualified contractor is eligible for rebate reimbursement, customer labor is excluded.

Eligibility

• Silicon Valley Power residential customer.
• Property must be occupied by all homeowners.
• Customer must be currently enrolled in the Financial Rate Assistance Program (FRAP) with income verification in the previous 12 months.
• Customer must have received approval for FRAP in at least two consecutive years.
• Customer must own the photovoltaic system. Leases or power purchase agreements are not eligible under this grant.
• Customer intends to operate the photovoltaic system at the listed service address for its useful life.
• Silicon Valley Power will conduct a solar assessment to determine Customer eligibility.
