Eligibility

• Must be a Silicon Valley Power residential customer living in the City of Santa Clara. Landlords are ineligible.
• If the bicycle is delivered, delivery address must be within Silicon Valley Power’s service territory.
• Eligible bicycles include electric bicycles that have an electric motor, a battery, and functional pedals.
• Scooters, mopeds, motorcycles, segways, bicycles capable of exceeding 40 mph and electric bicycle conversion
  kits are not eligible for this rebate.
• Offer is valid on new product sales only and as long as funds remain available.
• The customer intends to use the electric bicycle for personal use only. Resales are ineligible.
• The rebate application must be signed and postmarked or submitted online within 60 days from the date of purchase.
• Valid until funds are exhausted.
• One rebate per Silicon Valley Power customer.
• Discrepancies can invalidate the rebate application.
• Silicon Valley Power is not responsible for items delayed or lost in the mail.
• Silicon Valley Power disclaims any and all liability for any loss or damage which may arise as a result of the applicant’s participation in this program.
• Offer void where prohibited, taxed, or restricted by law.
• This program is subject to change or termination without prior notice.
• The rebate amount cannot exceed the purchase price of the product and does not include accessories, taxes or shipping costs.
• Rebates valid for purchases made with United States currency only.

Payment

• Rebate amounts are 10% of the pre-tax cost of the eligible electric bicycle less any other discounts received, up to $300.
• Financial Rate Assistance Program customers will receive an additional $100 for eligible bicycles with a pre-tax cost of $600 or less, and $200 for eligible electric bicycles with a pre-tax cost over $600.
• Rebates up to $600 will be applied as a bill credit within 2 billing cycles after all required documents have been received. A check will be mailed for rebates greater than $600.

• Photo of bicycle serial number
• Copy of the paid invoice showing the cost of the electric bicycle.
• Copy of the bicycle manufacturers’ published specifications
  
  • A specification sheet, or spec sheet, is a document that summarizes the performance and other technical characteristics of a product. This will be used to verify that the bicycle meets the rebate qualifications.
