Eligibility

• Must be a Silicon Valley Power residential customer enrolled in the Financial Rate Assistance Program prior to date of purchase. Income verification must have been provided within the prior 12 months.
• Offer is valid on pre-owned electric vehicle purchases made on or after July 1, 2023 for as long as funds remain available.
• Qualified vehicles must:
  
  • Be purchased from a licensed dealership
  • Have a sale price of $25,000 or less
  • Have a gross vehicle weight rating of less than 14,000 pounds
  • Have battery capacity of least 7 kilowatt hours
  • Have a model year at least two years earlier than the calendar year when you buy it
    
    • For example, a vehicle purchased in 2023 must be a model year of 2021 or older

Eligibility

• Must be a Silicon Valley Power residential customer living in the City of Santa Clara. Landlords are ineligible.
• If the bicycle is delivered, delivery address must be within Silicon Valley Power’s service territory.
• Eligible bicycles include electric bicycles that have an electric motor, a battery, and functional pedals.
• Scooters, mopeds, motorcycles, segways, bicycles capable of exceeding 40 mph and electric bicycle conversion kits are not eligible for this rebate.
• Offer is valid on new product sales only and as long as funds remain available.
• The customer intends to use the electric bicycle for personal use only. Resales are ineligible.
• The rebate application must be signed and postmarked or submitted online within 60 days from the date of purchase.

• Must be a Level 2 (240-volt) charging station.
• Level 2 charging cords and mobile connectors are not eligible.
• Chargers not hardwired must be Wi-Fi enabled.
• Splitters are not eligible.
• Must be a new unit. Charging stations that are portable, resold, rebuilt, received from warranty insurance, or promotional offers are not eligible for rebates under this program.
• Must be certified by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL Listed), ETL Listed, or approved by the City of Santa Clara Building Department.
