Silicon Valley Power is launching a new Outage Alert System to improve how we communicate with you during power outages.

With this new system, you’ll receive real-time updates by text, so you're never left in the dark. You'll also have access to a mobile-friendly outage map, outage reporting tools, and an enhanced phone system, making it easier than ever to get information.

If your utility account has a valid mobile number, you’ll be automatically enrolled in text alerts.

Text messages received from Silicon Valley Power and the City of Santa Clara are secure and sent only to keep you informed.
