Silicon Valley Power offers several programs to help make your home look better and run more efficiently. With rebates on refrigerators, attic insulation, ceiling fans, and whole house fans, there's never been a better time to upgrade your home appliances and start saving money. To qualify for these programs, you must be a resident of the City of Santa Clara and receive electricity from Silicon Valley Power. Other restrictions may apply. Attic Insulation Rebate
Save $175 when you install attic insulation materials over at least 50 percent of the total attic space (rebate amount is equal to receipt amount or $175—whichever is less). Your insulation must meet a value of R-30 or greater. Make the winters warmer and the summers cooler—and experience significant savings in the process. |

Ceiling Fan Rebate
Install up to three Energy Star® ceiling fans in your home and get a rebate of up to $35 for each fan installed. |

Electric Hot Water Heater Pump Rebate
Receive $1,000 for replacing your old electric domestic hot water heater with a new ENERGY STAR-qualified electric hot water heater pump. |

Pool Pump Rebate
Replace an existing pool pump and motor with a new high efficiency two-speed or a new high efficiency variable speed motor to receive a $200 rebate. |

Refrigerator Rebate and Recycling
When you purchase a new refrigerator and recycle your old one, you can receive $85 in rebates. Save $35 when you remove an older working refrigerator under our refrigerator recycling rebate program. Save another $50 when you purchase a qualifying ENERGY STAR refrigerator. You must recycle your old refrigerator through the City of Santa Clara Recycling Program with JACO Environmental (1-877-577-0510) to be eligible for either rebate. |

Room Air Conditioner and Recycling Rebate
Recycle your old room air conditioner and get a $25 rebate! Get rid of that old, inefficient room air conditioner that may be leaking greenhouse gases. Call 877-577-0510 to schedule a pickup. |
